is not yet available. We expect this service to be available within
the next three months.
The RFQ service will allow a
purchaser to solicit product quotes from other registered
members. The Supplier receives a request for a price and
quantity on a particular product. (RFQs can be for one shipment, a
specific promotion, or for an annual contract.) Suppliers then respond
back to the purchaser with a specific price, quantity, and point of
shipment. Once the terms are agreed to, the click of a button by the
purchaser issues a purchase order. The Supplier can then immediately
confirm it electronically.
